October 3rd, 2023: Bank of India celebrated Swachhata Divas as part of the nationwide campaign “Swachhata hi Seva (SHS)” demonstrating a remarkable display of commitment towards a cleaner India.
The event, held on 1st October at MTNL Square, BKC, was organized under the visionary leadership of the Bank’s MD & CEO Shri Rajneesh Karnatak, all Executive Directors and was graced by the presence of honorable Member of Parliament Ms. Poonam Mahajan, who joined to inspire the public to actively participate in the Swachhata Abhiyan initiated at the national level by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi.
With a motivating turnout of close to 250 dedicated staff members, the event gained substantial support. Also, Crime Branch officials, known for their relentless commitment to law and order, joined hands to support the Swachchta Abhiyan.
This celebration symbolizes the nation’s collective resolve to honor the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi with a fitting tribute, offering a heartfelt “swachchanjali’. Bank of India remains steadfast in its dedication to supporting such noble initiatives and fostering a spirit of cleanliness across the nation.
The theme of SHS is ‘Garbage Free India’ with focus on visual cleanliness and welfare of SafaiMitras.
