BYJU’S has released a brand new marketing campaign video to celebrate Teacher’s Day in an exclusive way. This virtual film expresses gratitude to the teachers and mentors who went above and beyond their call of obligation to make sure that students continue learning seamlessly even during the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown.

The video highlights the exemplary work performed by teachers to overcome demanding situations and support students for over a couple of months and the way students are thanking their teachers for their benevolence. While the role of teachers has always been unique, this year it’s been extra special as they have gone that extra mile to shift online and re-invent coaching strategies to deal with the new normal as all schools, colleges, and coaching centres had been shut down.

In the early days of the lockdown, BYJU’S instructors had transformed in short order to make steady learning for students. Teachers at BYJU’S created a teaching area at their respective homes and set up home studios to keep delivering online classes routinely.

As online platforms have become the only available study option during this COVID period, BYJU’S has made access to its content on the app, free during this period. Since the lockdown, BYJU’S has seen over 20 million new students learning from its platform, which was a huge success for the entire team.

The video further acknowledges and appreciates the efforts of various teachers who engage with their students during the lockdown, making online classes from home a ‘class apart’, solving their doubts, and introducing the new format of learning with much determination and passion.

Almost all parts of India’s educational system was affected by this pandemic. Its been five to six months since teachers have been commenced to teach through the digital platform. The struggles taken by these teachers to conduct such classes is lot more than that the students face at the time of attending the class.
