The video, titled ‘Coke Tables,’ stars Diljit Dosanjh and aims to improve the gastronomic experience of new-age consumers.

Diljit Dosanjh, a Punjabi musician, actor, and Coca-Cola India’s brand ambassador have launched a campaign in Punjab dubbed “Coke Tables.”

Its goal is to bring people together and create moments of togetherness by encouraging them to share their meals with a Coca-Cola bottle or can. The ad, according to the brand, is in accordance with its mission of “refreshing the globe” and “making a difference.”

The ad campaign implies that putting food on top of a Coke transforms it into a ‘table,’ whether it’s a traditional dining table, the hood of a car, or even a stairwell adjacent to the college canteen. A ‘Coke x Meals’ table is where we gather together to enjoy the meals as well as each other. It is here where all talks take place and where all memories are shared.

In a statement on the campaign, Kaushik Prasad, director of marketing for Coca-Cola India, stated that Coke pairs well with food and that as a brand, it aims to promote human connections and togetherness. That is precisely what this campaign accomplishes.

It’s an invitation to get together and enjoy a Coke and a meal! Coca-Cola believes that whenever there is food and Coke, there is an opportunity to create true magic. And they’re pleased to have Diljit Dosanjh, India’s most popular pop star, kick off the campaign in Punjab.

Food and Coca-Cola are two of Dosanjh’s greatest loves in life, according to those who know him. His long-standing relationship with Coca-Cola is made even more special by the fact that he is launching the brand’s new campaign in Punjab, his home state.

Punjabis are known for their enormous appetites and equally bigger hearts, and He is looking forward to seeing more ‘Coke Meal Tables’ pop up around the state.

Coca-Cola hopes to improve the gastronomic experience of new-age consumers with this advertisement. It makes an attempt to present the beverage as a suitable meal companion.

Later this year, the program will be expanded to other states. It will air live on Punjabi television stations and will also have a digital component.
