The new team set the agenda by announcing an increased focus on builders’ unity to promote the activities and strengthening the chapters of CREDAI Telangana along with the focus on consumer satisfaction and adherence to ethical standards of operations in the real estate industry as the key objectives for this year. The contribution of CREDAI Telangana has always been immense with their key focus on consumer satisfaction and importance on adherence to ethical building standards, initiatives for skill development for the construction workers, water conservation and Haritha Haram, and the adoption of Green Building Concept in the projects by members.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Ch. Ramchandra Reddy, Chairman of CREDAI Telangana said, ” The proactive policies adopted by the state government under the leadership of Hon’ble CM Shri K, Chandrashekhar Rao & Hon’ble minister for MAUD, Shri KT Rama Rao, envisaged policies like TS-iPASS, for single-window approval for industries, T-PRIDE, to encourage SC / ST entrepreneurs, T- IDEA for industrial and entrepreneurship development in the state are facilitating the overall growth of the state. The policy to extend the industrial corridors to the districts has further dispersed the growth and enhanced the development of districts in the state. This has resulted in job creation in the districts, helping the demand for modern residential and commercial infrastructure. CREDAI Telangana has been at the forefront in assisting the availability of the latest technology and skilled manpower, through our district chapters, ensuring the members are up-to-date with the latest development in the industry and provide best-in-class real estate projects. To recognize the efforts of the state chapters, we instituted “CREATE” awards, which have helped galvanize the sector. We initiated the process of district-level property shows, which we hope will extend to other centres.”

Outlining the agenda of the new office bearers Sri D. Murali Krishna Reddy, President, CREDAI Telangana said, ” The real estate sector has seen a robust demand in Hyderabad and other districts in Telangana state, despite the challenges faced due to pandemic. This is primarily driven by the structured development initiatives and a comprehensive industrial policy introduced by the government under the leadership of Hon’ble Shri K, Chandrashekhar Rao. The growth will continue with the same trajectory as the government has planned the next phase of development attracting different industries to different districts. We at CREDAI Telangana will be facilitating the growth by streamlining of the real estate sector in the districts and ensure developers abide by the processes introduced by RERA, and other policies introduced by the state government. We also appreciate the state leadership for introducing innovative platforms like TS-bPASS (single-window approval platform for the real estate sector) and encourage registrations through the DHARINI portal, which maps the agricultural and non-agricultural land parcels accurately. We completely support such path-breaking initiatives by the government; however, we request the Government to introduce these platforms in a phased manner. While the new platforms are being tested, to iron out issues, the old systems should be allowed to continue, so that the business transactions do not suffer. We will always work with the government to help with the real-time testing & speedy implementation of the new tools. We will also organize workshops to help member developers across the state to understand and benefit from the new tools being introduced, for the betterment of the industry.”

Adding to this Sri E. Premsagar Reddy, President-Elect, CREDAI Telangana said, “Besides a comprehensive industrial policy aimed at dispersed development across the state, during 2018-19, Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) launched ‘Startup India Telangana Yatra’ with an attempt to promote entrepreneurship in tier II and tier III cities. All these initiatives have been instrumental in driving industrial growth, in Tier II, Tier III cities, boosting the demand for the real estate sector in the state. Telangana as a State has grown tremendously since its formation under the visionary leadership of our Hon’ble CM. The property prices in Hyderabad and other districts like Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, etc are lower when compared to the cities with comparable infrastructure in other states, thus making it easier for the families to buy property here. At CREDAI Telangana, we would like to create platforms like property show across districts, to facilitate creating credible platforms for homebuyers to purchase the properties from reputed member developers across locations.”

Adding to this Sri K. Indrasena Reddy, Secretary, CREDAI Telangana added, ” Telangana State is now attracting investments through various industries like Textiles, Auto- ancillaries, Pharma & Health Care, IT, ITeS, Aviation, Food Processing, etc. in the designated corridors across the state. The state government has started work on the ‘One District, One Product’ scheme, which aims to identify and promote products that have the high market potential for both export promotion and import substitution, ensuring the development of industrial zones, benefitting the districts, bringing the development of infrastructure and industries, healthcare and creating employment. This has resulted in the demand for real estate across the state. CREDAI Telangana has a focus on helping the district chapters expand members and provide them access to new technologies, skill development of manpower, and ensuring adherence to the guidelines of RERA, ensuring an ethical and healthy real estate sector across the state.”
