Dylect Turns Sibling Banter into a Drive of Care This Raksha Bandhan

The brand’s latest film follows a social-media-savvy sister and her brother’s unexpected way of looking out for her.

New Delhi, August 19th, 2026: Dylect, one of India’s fastest-growing lifestyle technology brands, has unveiled its latest Raksha Bandhan campaign, bringing a contemporary lens to an adorable bond between brothers and sisters. Through a light-hearted digital film, the campaign captures how traditional celebrations are re-shaping in this social media era, beautifully capturing those everyday light, candid and playful ways siblings rejoice their bond.

The film follows a young girl getting ready for Raksha Bandhan while documenting every part of the celebration for her social media selfies and reels. From her outfit and mirror selfie to the rakhi thali and festive delicacies, she turns the occasion into a series of moments to share online. The story takes a playful turn, when during the rakhi ceremony her brother is about to gift her, she immediately hands him her phone to record her instant reaction. It started with her remark “Phir chocolate!!”, while he handed over a chocolate to her.

The moment instantly takes an unexpected turn when her brother then presents her a Dylect Sense 4K Max Two Channel Dash Cam. What follows is a typical sibling exchange, with the brother teasing her that while he or the chocolate may not always be around, the dash cam will be there wherever she drives to. His closing remark, “Kyunki road pe reels nahi, proof kaam aata hai,” brings the humorous film back to its central message of loving and caring for one another.

The campaign moves away from the traditional, heavily sentimental way of celebrating Raksha Bandhan, instead uses everyday sibling behaviour and the high-on-demand digital world, to present the scenario in a contemporary manner. By placing the celebration against the backdrop of reels, selfies and constant content creation, Dylect reflects how younger consumers experience and celebrate festivals today.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Anuj Bhatia, Founder, Dylect, said, “Raksha Bandhan has always been about the bond between siblings, but the way that bond is expressed keeps changing. Through this campaign, we wanted to capture that change in a simple and relatable way, making it humourous, light conversational while capturing those real everyday moments that are part of modern sibling relationships. The film is less about the occasion itself and more about the small ways siblings continue to embrace each other.”

The film’s underlying thought comes back to the true meaning of Raksha Bandhan – Raksha, or protection and safety. By gifting her a dash cam, the brother finds a contemporary way to continue looking out for his sister even when he is not around. It transforms the traditional promise of protection into an everyday gesture of care, with the Dylect Sense 4K Max accompanying her on the road. The Dylect Sense 4K Max features Sony STARVIS 2, a 140° wide-angle view and ADAS.

With the Raksha Bandhan campaign, Dylect continues its focus on creating culturally relevant brand stories that connect technology with the everyday experiences and relationships of Indian consumers.
