Education in Ireland Announces the 2026 India Education Fair series Across Five Cities

Students and families to engage directly with 17 Irish higher education institutions and Irish visa officials across New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru

India, 18 September 2026: Education in Ireland, the national brand representing Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) globally, today announced the return of its flagship India Education Fairs 2026, beginning on 3 October in New Delhi, followed by Pune, Mumbai and Chennai, and concluding in Bengaluru.

The five-city education fair will bring together representatives from 17 Irish higher education institutions, along with officials from the Irish Visa Office, offering prospective students and their families an opportunity to interact directly with institutions and seek information on courses, admissions, scholarships, student life and the visa application process.

In an increasingly interconnected world, international education can offer students learning that extends beyond the classroom, exposing them to new perspectives, cultures, ideas and ways of thinking. Through the fairs, students will be able to explore undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a wide range of disciplines, including technology, business, healthcare, engineering, sustainability, arts and humanities, among others. Representatives from participating institutions will also provide insights into research opportunities, scholarships, experiential learning and industry-oriented academic programmes available in Ireland.

For students preparing for upcoming academic intakes, the fairs will provide practical guidance on various stages of the study-abroad journey. Representatives from the Irish Visa Office will share information on the student visa application process, documentation requirements and timelines, enabling students and families to better understand the preparations involved before commencing their studies in Ireland.

Speaking about the Education Fairs, Ms. Elizabeth McHenry, Regional Manager – Asia & MENA, Education in Ireland, said, “Choosing where and what to study is a very important decision for students and their families, and having access to credible information and direct conversations can make that process significantly easier. Through the Education in Ireland fairs, students across India will have the opportunity to engage directly with our higher education institutions, explore programmes and scholarships, and understand the academic and student experiences that Ireland offers. We hope these interactions will help students evaluate their options carefully and make informed decisions about their higher education journey.”

Ireland offers access to globally recognised higher education institutions, innovative academic programmes and an education system renowned for its strengths in research, practical learning and industry engagement. The fairs provide Indian students with a valuable opportunity to explore these offerings, gain first hand insights about studying in Ireland and directly engage with participating institutions.
