World Environment Day, organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and celebrated by millions of people worldwide every year on June 5 since 1973, is the greatest international forum for environmental public outreach. Sweden is hosting it this year.

Nature is in a state of emergency as time is running out. We must reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2030 if we want to limit global warming to 1.5°C this century. Without action, the amount of time that people are exposed to air pollution will exceed safe levels by 50% during the next ten years, and the amount of plastic garbage that enters aquatic habitats will nearly treble by the year 2040.

This urgent need for action makes “Only One Earth” and its emphasis on living sustainably in harmony with nature as relevant as ever.

The most well-known day for environmental activism is World Environment Day. The News Nation Network has always been dedicated to covering topics that are significant to wider segments of society. Its news reporting is non-opinionated, impartial, and covers the different realities of India.

On World Environment Day, News Nation Network launched its “Ek Paudha Zindagi ke Liye” campaign in line with its philosophy of journalism for society. the day dedicated to getting celebrities, corporations, governments, and regular people to work together on a critical environmental issue.

As part of the nation’s Green Drive, News Nation Network initiated this initiative with the goal of presenting a better environment for the next generation by battling against climate change, global warming, and air pollution.

Speaking on behalf of News Nation Network, Mr. Bhuwan Bhatt, CBO, said that planting trees is one of the best ways to minimize the atmosphere’s carbon footprint while reviving it with enough oxygen. To save nature, more trees must be planted immediately. The film “Ek Paudha Zindagi Ke Liye” is our modest contribution to this worthy cause.

A wide range of people participated in “Ek Paudha Zindagi Ke Liye,” including politicians, bureaucrats, and celebrities. Everyone took part in the action with zeal. Under this initiative, more than 1.70 Lac houses would be impacted.
