New Delhi, October 30th, 2025 — Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing metal aggregators, today announced an investment of ₹80 crore to establish 10 AI-driven dark stores across the country’s key industrial hubs. The initiative is aimed at redefining materials distribution through the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics, enhancing supply chain speed, precision, and responsiveness for more than 1,500 OEMs nationwide.
The dark stores will be strategically launched in Aurangabad, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Indore, and Chennai, expanding on Enlight’s existing footprint in Mumbai and Pune. Each facility will serve as a tech-enabled micro-fulfillment hub, powered by AI-based stock orchestration and predictive analytics to ensure optimized inventory management and delivery performance.

Roughly 50% of the total investment is earmarked for infrastructure development and automation, while the remaining funds will be directed toward strengthening Enlight’s digital platforms, AI-powered planning systems, and regional workforce. Each dark store will also feature a regional engagement cell, offering OEMs localized support in demand planning, technical assistance, and service delivery.
Unlike conventional centralized warehouses, dark stores are fulfillment-first facilities situated closer to consumption centers. This proximity enables 24-hour delivery cycles and real-time inventory visibility, helping manufacturers streamline operations, reduce production downtime, and improve reliability.
This expansion represents a key milestone in Enlight Metals’ ambition to evolve into India’s most agile and data-driven materials distribution platform, setting new benchmarks in transparency, efficiency, and customer responsiveness across the manufacturing and infrastructure value chain.
