Mumbai: Film editor RC Pranav, whose body of work spans feature films, OTT projects, and over 600 commercials across five languages, is all set to make his first 100 crore feature film editing debut with the much-anticipated Telugu fantasy action spectacle Nagabandham, releasing worldwide on 3rd July.
Before stepping into mainstream feature films, RC Pranav assisted acclaimed film editor Anthony, one of Indian cinema’s most respected editors. Over the years, he has built a diverse portfolio across advertising, digital content, and cinema, developing a keen eye for storytelling, rhythm, and emotion. RC Pranav has been instrumental in shaping the film’s visual narrative, editing not only the feature film but also its official teaser and theatrical trailer, both of which have been widely appreciated for their gripping pace, cinematic scale, and immersive storytelling.
Prior to Nagabandham, Pranav co-edited the songs of the critically acclaimed Gully Boy and worked on the high-intensity cricket match sequences and key scenes in 83, contributing to two of Hindi cinema’s most celebrated productions. His growing filmography also includes Tamil projects such as Oho Enthan Baby (Netflix), Kiss (ZEE5), and the upcoming feature Photographer, scheduled for release on 10th July.
Within the industry, RC Pranav has earned the affectionate nickname “World’s Fastest Editor” from director Abhishek Nama and producers Kishore and Nishita, who have often praised his speed, efficiency, and instinctive storytelling while working under demanding timelines. While the title is shared in good humour, it reflects the confidence the team places in his ability to deliver exceptional quality without compromising creative vision.
