India’s leading integrated health and wellness platform Cure.fit announced that the brand has renamed itself to Cult.fit, after its flagship fitness vertical. Cure.fit’s extensive rebranding effort came to an end earlier this week and the rebrand as Cult.fit is in effect since 11th May. The rebrand will be reflected across all of Cult.fit’s channels, including its health app and social media accounts.

Since its inception in 2016 by founders Ankit Nagori and Mukesh Bansal, Cult.fit has grown as a well-known name and is among the leading entities in the fitness space. Under the flagship fitness vertical- “Cult” banner, the platform offers a host of facilities such as online fitness classes, group workouts, gym and equipment-based workouts, yoga, swimming, meditation and sports, amongst other things.

With an ever-growing community of cult enthusiasts, the company has already amassed over 600K subscribers on YouTube. The company now aims to concentrate its efforts to further expand the platform under a single brand name- “Cult.fit”, and thereby amplify the brand’s popular identity.

Cult.fit forayed into gyms last year. Continuing the brand’s vision to become India’s de facto leader in fitness the company further strengthened its position through the acquisition of Fitternity this year. At present, Cult.fit has a widespread network of gyms and fitness centres all over the country. Following the rebrand, Cult.fit aims to establish its identity as India’s largest all-encompassing fitness chain.

With the rebrand from “Cure.fit” to “Cult.fit” the company has also decided to incorporate the new Cult.fit identity and rename its popular unlimited membership pack to “Cultpass’. The unlimited membership can be availed through the cult.fit app and will act as a universal all-inclusive pass providing access to all fitness service by the company. The Cultpass will house multiple pack choices and access options at different prices.

Apart from the gyms and fitness centres the company also offers therapy, eatfit marketplace, and teleconsultation under the wellness category. The new “Cult.fit” name will stand for everything the company currently offers in the wellness, fitness and healthcare space.

Expressing the excitement over Cult.fit’s rebrand and devise for a new phase, Naresh Krishnaswamy, Growth and Marketing Head- Cult.fit, said, “We want Cult.fit to become the one destination people think of going to when they have anything related to health and fitness on their minds.”
