Flipkart Seller Hub launches Women’s Day campaign

Flipkart Seller Hub has released a new promotional film named #RiseLikeHer – Nirjhara in honour of International Women’s Day. ‘Nirjhara,’ which means ‘boundless,’ is a homage to female entrepreneurs and leaders who “lead from the front,” who labour tirelessly and face several problems without fear or hesitation. 

Flipkart’s new ad aims to inspire Indian women to follow their hearts and enjoy life on their terms. Women are portrayed in the film as individuals with the strength and ability to make their own decisions and trace their paths. 

The film begins with a night scene at the actor’s (Aditi Sharma) textile factory, where her manager is shown calling her from the facility, informing her of the impending delivery’s urgency. Aditi is then shown waiting for the driver to deliver the goods from the warehouse to the delivery point in the warehouse. 

As the driver is unable to reach the warehouse in time to make the delivery, the situation becomes much more urgent when it begins to rain. Aditi, on the other hand, decides to take matters into her own hands and drives the mini-truck to the plant, ensuring successful delivery. 

In just sixty seconds, the film brilliantly captures the protagonist’s various emotions, such as worry, care, courage, and satisfaction, as well as a brilliant display of the qualities that make her the entrepreneur and person she is, such as humility, courage, decisiveness, resilience, and stepping up to the plate. 

With these nuanced attributes on show, ‘Nirjhara’ salutes every female entrepreneur who fights against all barriers to achieve her goals. 

While every day should be commemorated as Women’s Day, March 8 presents an opportunity for the Flipkart family to honour the spirit of women who are leaders and successful entrepreneurs in their different fields, according to Jagjeet Harode, Business Unit Head – at Flipkart Marketplace

As a result, because kids witness these wonderful women every day, celebrating their accomplishment comes easily and with great pride, according to Harode. 

Flipkart welcomes women sellers and Flipkart employees to share their inspiring tales through the #RiseLikeHer social media campaign, which aims to encourage women to become ‘Nirjharas.’ The most inspiring stories from the entries will be posted on Flipkart Seller Hub’s official Instagram feed.
