Mumbai, 11th September 2026: As parents and educators navigate this increasingly complex education landscape, conversations around preparing learners for the future can often happen in silos. Seeking to make this discourse more accessible, Hemali Dalal, Managing Director, JBCN Education launched an all-new podcast – The Next Lesson. The podcast was launched with live conversations with renowned journalist Faye D’Souza and Tejas Jhaveri, serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and Founder of Myntmore, an AI-first B2B lead generation company. The event focused on two sessions- learning faster through AI & learning deeper through human conversations and wisdom.
Mr Tejas and Ms Hemali delved deep into the future of learning & the influence of AI in learning. They covered fear associated with AI, AI hallucinations, how AI can challenge our thinking, creating guardrails, and even content creation with AI. During the discussion, Tejas Jhaveri remarked, “Many children go to AI for therapy, and this says a lot about us. Maybe we are not giving them the time they need. Admin work and repetitive tasks can be automated and completely outsourced to AI but you cannot outsource emotions.”
On the other hand, Ms Hemali’s conversation with Faye D’Souza focused on learning through people and human wisdom. They discussed how every conversation with a person can teach you something you don’t know, and discussed the importance of active listening, the courage to ask difficult questions, listening and empathy as leadership skills, and curiosity as a muscle memory that we cannot afford to lose. Faye D’Souza said, “Human beings are the greatest teachers we have. In each classroom, each teacher is a cumulation of the teachers that came before them. AI can help us be better teachers, but it cannot be a teacher on its own. Teachers are the architects of our society. ”
The sessions ended with Hemali remarking how AI and humans need to co-exist. In the same vein, she spoke about the launch of The Next Lesson: “With AI, algorithms, and infinite information at one’s fingertips, we are living through one of the most profound shifts in how humans learn, research and create. Even as we adapt to the times, there are lessons that are deeply and unmistakably human – curiosity, critical thinking, empathy, reflection and connection. The Next Lesson explores this intersection of the future and timeless human qualities with educators, parents, mentors, and learners sharing their experiences.”
She further added, “Today’s conversation with Mr Tejas Jhaveri and Faye D’souza reflected this very thought. guests for giving their time. I hope The Next Lesson strikes a chord and reminds audiences of what we already knew but have forgotten.”
