Himalaya BabyCare Brings Specialized Skin Care to Everyday Bath Time

~Strengthening its soap portfolio with targeted solutions for delicate newborn skin and seasonal skin discomfort~

Hyderabad, June 01, 2026: Himalaya BabyCare, one of India’s most trusted and No. 1 Doctor-Recommended† Baby Care Brands, loved by babies, has unveiled two new DVC for Himalaya Gentle Baby Soap and Refreshing Baby Soap. These campaigns mark a strategic step in repositioning the Baby Soap Portfolio with the message, “More than Cleansing. It’s Care.” Driven by Himalaya BabyCare’s deep understanding of newborn skin, this shift also reflects evolving parent mindsets, where today’s parents seek not just safe, but specially formulated solutions that provide gentle everyday care for newborns and babies, while also supporting their skin through seasonal changes.

The Gentle Baby Soap film unfolds in a slow, almost suspended moment in time. A mother prepares for her baby’s bath, but what should be a simple, routine act, is layered with emotions, care, responsibility, and an underlying anxiety about making the right choices. As she gently holds her newborn, her thoughts echo a familiar concern: “Kaise karoon sahi soap ka selection?” The narrative captures this instinctive concern, where even the simplest decisions feel significant when it comes to a  newborn’s skin. In a subtle yet reassuring turn; the father steps in with a Himalaya Gentle Baby Soap as a trusted solution, easing the mother’s concern. Not just a resolution, but a shift in emotion, from hesitation to trust, from anxiety to comfort.

At the heart of the communication is the product’s specialized formulation. Himalaya Gentle Baby Soap, India’s No. 1 Baby Soap*, is specially crafted for newborn skin and enriched with a unique Phyto-oil-complex made from 100% natural oils of Almond and Olive for gentle cleansing without compromising on skin hydration. This harsh-chemical free formulation helps prevent post-bath dryness, leaving the baby’s skin soft and healthy.

This gentle formulation contains 97% Natural Origin Ingredients^ and helps protect the baby’s skin from dryness while ensuring lasting softness after every bath—reinforcing the brand’s promise – ”More than Cleansing. It’s Gentle Care”, moving beyond just cleansing to delivering gentle, effective care for newborn skin.

With the message “Sirf Cleansing Nahi. Skin ki Gentle Care bhi,” the brand also highlights the importance of choosing products that are specifically designed to nurture and protect newborn skin.

Himalaya Refreshing Baby Soap

The Refreshing Baby Soap film opens with a light-hearted and loving narrative. Set in an intimate moment between a mother and her baby, the film captures the discomforts of summer – heat, sweat, and itching through playful, exaggerated expressions by the mother, met with the baby’s cheerful reactions. As the mother humorously voices what every Indian parent knows too well, “kitni garmi” and “paseena paseena,” The campaign’s core message, “Sirf Cleansing Nahi. Skin ki Refreshing Care bhi,” captures exactly what Himalaya BabyCare set out to convey, that summer baby skincare goes beyond basic cleansing.

Summers in India can be particularly harsh on baby skin, causing sweat-induced irritation, heat rashes, and discomfort to be a daily reality. Himalaya BabyCare’s response is Refreshing Baby Soap with Aquafresh Complex of Watermelon, Vetiver, and Neem, which is formulated to help ease the irritation caused by sweat and heat.

Together, the two soaps reflect Himalaya BabyCare’s broader vision of building a specialized soap portfolio that addresses the full spectrum of baby skin needs, from the delicate requirements of newborn skin to the seasonal challenges associated with India’s climate.

Commenting on the launch, Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, our approach has always been rooted in a deep understanding of newborn skin and its unique needs. We are now witnessing a clear shift, with parents increasingly resonating with this approach and seeking not just safe, but specifically designed solutions. This evolving mindset has further deepened our focus on specialization across our portfolio. Whether it is the delicate requirements of newborn skin or the seasonal challenges of an Indian summer, our goal remains the same- to offer targeted, gentle, and trustworthy solutions that parents can rely on with confidence.”

Both the DVCs will be rolled out across digital and social media platforms, supported by regional language adaptations to strengthen reach and engagement among young parents across India.
