24th March, India: Huber and Holly, the premium dessert brand from the house of Hocco Ice Cream, is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Huber Cakes, a new format of ice cream cakes designed for individual, spontaneous consumption.
Unlike traditional cakes meant for sharing at celebrations, Huber Cakes are single-serve portions created for personal indulgence, whether it’s a late-night craving, a midweek treat, or a moment that doesn’t require an occasion.
Encased in collectible tins, each cake combines layers of ice cream and cake in a ready-to-eat format. The product reflects a shift in how consumers approach desserts, with a growing preference for smaller, personal portions over large, shareable formats.
“Cake has traditionally been associated with celebrations and sharing, but consumption patterns are changing, ” said Ankit Chona, MD, Hocco Ice Cream. “We’re seeing more people seek out premium desserts for everyday moments, not just special occasions. Huber Cakes are designed for that shift, offering a format that fits into daily routines without the need for an event or a group.”
The range includes five flavors: Belgian Chocolate Truffle, Italian Mascarpone Tiramisu, Blueberry Crème Cake, Hazelnut Chocolate and Praline, and Dubai Chocolate Kunafa. Each is crafted to deliver a layered dessert experience in a compact, individual format.
The launch taps into a growing consumer trend where people increasingly celebrate small personal moments and everyday indulgences, making dessert less about grand celebrations and more about self-reward and spontaneity. This aligns with broader shifts in the premium food space, where single-serve, high-quality products are increasingly preferred by consumers seeking convenience without compromising on taste or experience.
Huber Cakes are now available across all Huber and Holly outlets. Priced at Rs 1000.
