Hyundai Motor India Launches First-Ever Festive Micro Drama Series with Terribly Tiny Tales

Titled Diwali Chori Ho Gayi! the series celebrates the true spirit of Diwali

GURUGRAM | 04 November, 2026 : Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) in collaboration with Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT), a part of Collective Artists Network, has launched its first-ever festive micro drama series, Diwali Chori Ho Gayi! The six-part digital storytelling series blends humour, mystery and emotion to celebrate the family traditions, shared rituals and cherished memories that make Diwali truly special. The series highlights how meaningful festive moments and shared experiences continue to bring generations closer together.

At its heart, Diwali Chori Ho Gayi! is about the little traditions that make Diwali special, from getting mithai from a favourite shop to following rituals that have been part of a family for generations. The six-part micro drama follows the Anand family, who wake up on Diwali morning to find that everything they’ve prepared for the festival, has gone missing. As they set out across the city to find it all before the celebrations begin, each clue brings back a forgotten ritual, a cherished memory or an old family disagreement, reminding them that Diwali is about more than just the things that make it a celebration.

Speaking on HMIL’s first-ever festive micro drama series, Mr. Virat Khullar, Head, Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “Diwali is a time when families come together, celebrate shared traditions and create memories that stay with them for years. At Hyundai, we have been part of countless family journeys, each carrying its own stories, milestones and moments of togetherness. As audience preferences continue to evolve, we remain committed to exploring new-age content formats that enable us to connect with consumers in more authentic, relevant and engaging ways. Micro dramas have emerged as a powerful storytelling format, combining emotional depth with the short-form content experience that today’s audiences increasingly enjoy. Through Diwali Chori Ho Gayi!, created in collaboration with Terribly Tiny Tales, we are bringing together festive traditions, family bonds and engaging storytelling in a way that feels both contemporary and relatable. The Hyundai CRETA and Santro play an integral role in the Anand family’s journey, symbolising how cherished memories and meaningful journeys continue to connect generations.”

Anuj Gosalia, Founder and CEO of Terribly Tiny Tales, said, “Microdramas are changing how audiences discover and engage with stories, and we’re excited to explore this format with a brand like Hyundai. Diwali Chori Ho Gayi! came out of a genuinely collaborative process, where both teams shared a belief in telling stories that feel real and rooted in everyday life. Hyundai’s openness to experimenting with a new format allowed us to build the brand into the narrative naturally, rather than around it. This is a true testament of what brands and storytellers can build together in the microdrama space.”

Hyundai is woven into the narrative of the series as an integral part of this journey with the Hyundai Creta becoming the family’s companion as they navigate the city, follow clues and race against time to put their celebrations back together. The family’s vintage Hyundai Santro, meanwhile, represents their shared history and the memories associated with earlier Diwali celebrations. Together, the two cars connect the family’s past and present, reinforcing the role of shared journeys in keeping family traditions alive.

Through this collaboration, TTT and Hyundai Motor India bring a distinctly human perspective to festive storytelling, highlighting how the most meaningful parts of a celebration are often not the things we buy or prepare, but the memories, relationships and traditions we choose to keep alive.
