On September 14 and 15, at The Leela Ambience in Gurugram, The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) hosted the eighth edition of The India Affiliate Summit, the country’s largest affiliate marketing conference. All of the Indian affiliate and performance marketing players gather at the India Affiliate Summit, or IAS, which began in 2015. It serves as a hub for collaboration and knowledge sharing among companies, agencies, publishers, affiliates, bloggers, and micro influencers in the industry. It focuses on how affiliate marketing is used to provide beneficial benefits for stakeholders, including businesses, agencies, bloggers, and influencers. At the summit, which is being hosted physically this year, more than 2500 top marketing professionals, who represent more than 700 big Indian and international firms, were present.
The fact that IAS took place and that vCommission has been the presenting partner and title partner of IAS for the past seven years is amazing since there was no event in India that was especially for the affiliate sector. The growth of their sector and where it has come from are also heartening to observe. IAMAI for IAS has been a wonderful experience for vCommission. Since no other worldwide event was hosting an India edition at the time they offered this event, they are grateful to IAMAI for having faith in it, stated Parul Tarang Bhargava, Co-Founder & CEO of vCommission Media Private Limited.
Alok Pandey, VP – Sales & Marketing, Xapads stated that India is seen as one of the top locations for tech and innovations. In-midst of it, Indian Affiliate Summit is a platform where top minds of the Adtech sector will connect and set the game for the time ahead. Coming after a two-year gap, the thrill is undoubtedly three times greater. They are anticipating two days filled with brainstorming sessions, innovation, and creativity with their friends, peers, and community. Congratulations to team #IAS22 for restoring the magic and best wishes for continued success.
In the affiliate marketing model of advertising, third-party publishers receive payments from a brand in exchange for driving traffic to and nurturing leads for the brand’s goods and services. Affiliates are the name given to these independent publications. They are compensated by the sale, click, or impression. Digital marketing analytics support affiliate marketing, a billion dollar industry. The Covid-19 pandemic has also contributed to an increase in internet sales as opposed to traditional consumer behaviour, which has accelerated the affiliate marketing sector. The three main categories of affiliate marketing are connected, unaffiliated, and involved. Affiliate marketing has benefited from the increase in social media usage. By 2026, it is anticipated that India’s e-commerce market will be worth $200 billion. Data indicates that the affiliate channel accounts for 15% of India’s online sales.
