Together, “Study In India” (SII), a tech-driven government programme, and SoCheers, India’s top independently-led creative digital agency, will further the former’s digital and creative goals. For the record, Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), a public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Education, is responsible for implementing SII.

SoCheers is in charge of overseeing the brand’s overall creative output across traditional and online media as per the mandate. Along with enhancing the company’s communication and marketing channels, the agency also handles social media marketing, social media analytics, and SEO (search engine optimization) for the business.

Regarding the collaboration, Sandeep Goel, Project Head at Study in India, said, “According to records, India’s higher education is believed to be one of the largest in the world with over 35 million students, 1000 institutions, and 52,627 colleges. Thus, the “Study in India” campaign seeks to dramatically boost the number of students entering the country in the near future. And SoCheers is already assisting us in achieving our business and communication objectives in a creative way. In order to maintain the great effect that the programme has had on the careers of thousands of students throughout the world, we anticipate some further intriguing and engaging digital exchanges.

The mission of SII, which was established in 2018, has been to support international students‘ pursuit of greatness while fostering global skills, promoting technology use, and encouraging the use of it. As a result, the agency’s efforts have been focused on helping the Indian education industry carve out a more significant place in the global market. The “Say Yes to Study in India” campaign was introduced by SoCheers as part of a 360-degree communication plan to further highlight the same. The campaign, which provided a comprehensive overview of what this nation can provide for their education to millions of prospective overseas students, yielded some encouraging results.

Siddharth Devnani, Co-Founder & Director of SoCheers, expressed his views in the following way: “India holds a unique position in the global education industry, and with Study In India being a flagship programme of the Indian Ministry of Education, our endeavour is to further accelerate its long-term communication goals across verticals. Simply put, the “Say Yes to Study in India” campaign marked the beginning of that journey. It not only effectively presents the nation’s many educational opportunities and programmes, but also empowers the aspirant students to further “Learn, Thrive, and Explore.”
