Indian stars Vijay Shankar and Piyush Chawla strengthen LPL 2026

Chennai, July 27, 2026: Indian cricketers Vijay Shankar and Piyush Chawla are adding greater experience and regional appeal to the Lanka Premier League 2026, strengthening the tournament’s connection with cricket audiences across India.
Vijay Shankar is representing the Kandy Royals, while Piyush Chawla has joined the Jaffna Kings, bringing valuable experience from Indian and international cricket to their respective franchises.
