July 26, 2012: Technopak’s Textile and Apparel Compendium 2012 released recently has predicted that Indian textile and apparel industry would grow by 9.5% to become a $221 bn market by 2021. Though the menswear contributes a lion share to India’s $58 billion domestic market, womenswear and kidswear shares would grow over the next decade. As per the report Men’s share in the market would drop to 40% from 43%.
