Infosys to acquire service management consultancy enterprise GuideVision

Information Technology firm Infosys has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the service management consultancy enterprise GuideVision for 30 million euros including earn-out and bonuses.

According to Mr. Ravi Kumar, Infosys is committed to building relevant digital priorities for the clients and the acquisition will enable the company to build such capabilities. The acquisition move will reinsure the commitment of Infosys towards the growing ServiceNow ecosystem and will augment the portfolio Infosys has in cloud services. 

The specialization of GuideVision is offering consulting, strategic advisory, implementations, and training and support on the ServiceNow platform. Infosys is currently one of the fastest-growing enterprise software company which is now becoming an essential service and a workflow standard for the organization.

There are various end-to-end offerings made by the GuideVision company, one being the SnowMirror which is a proprietary smart data replication tool for ServiceNow platforms which enables to simplify the complex business processes for over 100 enterprise clients.

Infosys`s ServiceNow capabilities for its clients in Europe will be strengthened by GuideVision`s nearshore capabilities and training academy in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and its presence in Germany and Finland. The combination that GuideVision possesses in Europe, which is scalable and agile capabilities along with the unmatched delivery excellence of the company will complement the capabilities of Infosys and provide world-class service to its clients.

GuideVision was established in the year 2004 and the company is a 100 percent founder-owned company. The headquarters of the company is in Prague, the Czech Republic, and the reported revenue of the company for the year 2019 is 12.9 million euros.

According to Mr. Narsimha Rao Mannepalli who is the Executive Vice President and the head-cloud and infrastructure at Infosys, the addition of GuideVision is another significant step towards strengthening the Cobalt offerings portfolio of Infosys along with bringing the combination of services, solutions, and platforms that act as a force multiplier for the transformation of the cloud-powered enterprises.

The Cobalt portfolio of Infosys has a large repository of cloud solutions for the ServiceNow industry like ESM Caf and GuideVision`s SnowMirror suite of Industry templates will bolster these solutions. The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal 2021.
