Instagram has launched ‘1 Minute Music’, a collection of music and personal clips that are only available on Instagram reels or news. The reel is a growing global platform, where artists and music are found, the company said. Since its launch, artists have been using it to present their music and share it with others, which further enhances many styles on stage.

To further this, and to encourage others to showcase their talent, Instagram is now releasing a ‘1 Minute Music’ product, he added. Instagram hosted by Meta for sharing photos on Thursday announced a new platform – 1 Minute Music – Reels tracks, currently available to Indian users only.

The company said the new platform provides a collection of music and video tracks to be used on Reels and News and includes music by 200 artists across the country. This includes music by more than 200 Indian artists to encourage users in India to create more engaging content. Instagram works closely with music distribution and talent management company, Belief, to deliver One Minute Music Content. It is not yet clear how creators and young artists can jump on the platform to share their content and use it with others.

The new collection includes music by recording artists including Dhvani Bhanushali, Neeti Mohan, Shaan, Himanshi Khurana, Aniruth, and GV Prakaash Kumar. Instagram hopes that 1 Minute Music will make it even more appealing to many artists to release their tracks in the collection, such as each GSM Arena. The tracks are available for use in the Reels audio gallery section of the app.

The One Minute Music platform launched is also a special Instagram. Thus, music and music-related music can be published and used only by Reels. These songs will not be available for use on other platforms such as YouTube. Artists may be interested in making money through their music rights. A Meta-owned company may decide to pay paid creators based on the number of times a track is used in rails or news.

This will apply in the same way to free copyrighted music that many artists have made available on major audio streaming platforms. A few of these are like Lo-Fi tracks used as background music during their live streaming on YouTube or Twitch. Content creators use them for their videos, Shortcuts, or Podcasts. Music is a fashion trend on Instagram today, ”said Paras Sharma, Director, Content and Social Partnership, Facebook India (Meta).

With ‘1 Minute Music’, we now give people access to a special collection of songs that they can use to make their reels more enjoyable. We also hope that this platform will serve as a paradigm for older and emerging artists to share their music, and create their videos, all on Reels, ”he added.
