Dec 3, 2012: Kim Kardashian was the most searched person and Apple iPhone 5 the most search gadget on Yahoo in 2012. Among the most searched item was US presidential election. In a release today Yahoo came up with these statistics which also reveals that the most searched in the last decade was the death of Michael Jackson in 2009 and BP oil spill in 2010. According to the order of the most searched in Yahoo, 1st came US presidential election, 2nd Apple iPhone 5 and 3rd came Kim Kardashian. The other most searched keywords in Yahoo included Olympics, The Hunger Gmes, Fifty Shades of Grey, Call Me Maybe and Gangnam Style.
