Novi Digital Entertainment Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star India Private Limited, owns Disney+ Hotstar, an online video streaming company. Disney+ Hotstar presently delivers over 100,000 hours of TV programs and movies in 9 languages and live coverage of every major sport. Disney+ Hotstar is the most comprehensive video destination for Over The Top (OTT) video users, thanks to advanced video streaming technology and attention to the quality of experience across devices and platforms.

It offers two paid subscription plans: “VIP,” which focuses on domestic programming and sports content (including IPL cricket), and “Premier,” which includes premium international films and television series (including HBO, Showtime, and other American original series).

Matrix Fight Night (MFN), India’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, will collaborate with Disney+ Hotstar starting with its 10th edition later this year. This collaboration was organized by Rakhee Mehta of Magicrise and Salil Acharya of SS Productions, and the team is now looking forward to ending the year on a high note.

“I am thrilled to be collaborating with Disney+ Hotstar for MFN. We are looking forward to a great and beneficial collaboration. Thank you, Disney+ Hotstar, for believing in this incredible sport and our athletes. Let’s go break some records together, “MFN Founder Ayesha Shroff stated.

MFN also revealed that, as part of the digital streaming deal, Disney+ Hotstar would soon begin broadcasting previous MMA event editions soon. This series starts from MFN 7, which was held in December 2021 at the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. MMA fans in India will be able to experience the amazing MMA action that took place this year at MFN 8 and MFN 9 in New Delhi.

“Matrix Fight Night has held nine mega shows in India and the UAE since its inception in 2019.” “The shows have garnered a lot of interest among MMA fans in India, with fighters like Jojo Rajkumari from Manipur and Shyamanand from Bihar becoming viral sensations overnight,” said Alan Fenandes, CEO of MFN.

“MFN contains a plethora of content on the struggles and inspiring journeys of Indian MMA athletes.” There are unseen and unheard stories of fighters from humble backgrounds who made it to the biggest Indian MMA stage,” he added.
