Meta cracked down on more than 27 million posts throughout Facebook and Instagram in July alleging community guidelines violations, according to its latest monthly transparency report for India.

On Instagram, out of the two million posts, nearly 1 million posts have been on suicide and self-damage, while 370,000 promoted personal nudity and sexual pastime. Meta said it acquired 626 proceedings about inappropriate posts on FB and 1,033 complaints on Instagram from Indian customers and that it answered all the lawsuits.

Fake Profile Complaint

Similarly, in the case of personal proceedings on Instagram, Meta supplied equipment to users to solve their troubles in 945 instances. A total of 705 users on Instagram complained about their fake profiles, and 639 were taken action by using Meta. Additionally, 715 Instagram customers complained about hacked accounts, and movement was born on 167 proceedings. The report said that out of the 88 opposite reviews in which detailed review became required, we reviewed the content according to our policies and acted on 35 words. 

Let it be known that under the IT Rules 2021, all social media companies submit such reports to the government every month. In the month of July, Meta got 626 complaints from Facebook and 1,033 from Instagram. Facebook has processed 603 of the 626 reports. Instagram has said it has resolved 945 complaints.
