Mohan Wilson is appointed Director-Marketing by Nissan India

As Director of Marketing, Product & Customer Experience, for Business Transformation for the Indian market, Nissan India has appointed Mohan Wilson. Sriram Padmanabhan will be replaced by Mohan Wilson, who will assume the position on July 1st, 2022. Wilson has over 20 years of cross-functional experience in sales and marketing and has worked in Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, and India. The company noted that Wilson has expertise in brand creation, MarCom, product marketing, customer experience, corporate strategy, and data-driven marketing. Wilson will use his experience from working at Nissan Motor Corporation’s global headquarters office in Yokohama, Japan, to “change the India business on future product strategy for India, establish a strong brand with an emphasis on customer experience,” according to the company.

At INFINITI, a premium vehicle company owned by Nissan Motor Corporation, Mohan served as head of worldwide marketing planning. He was also involved in INFINITI’s global model launch introductions for the all-new QX60 and QX55. In his position, Mohan Wilson will be stationed in Chennai and report to Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India. He will utilize his experience from working at Nissan Motor Corporation’s global headquarters office in Yokohama, Japan, to transform the India business with a focus on future product strategy for India, establish a strong brand with a focus on customer experience, and all of these goals.

Sriram Padmanabhan, who served as Director Marketing, Product & Customer Experience for the Nissan Magnite’s successful introduction in India, has been named Director Marketing, Product & Customer Experience for Nissan Motor Australia. Sriram will be based in Australia and report to Adam Paterson, Managing Director of Nissan Australia, in this newly created position. Rakesh Srivastava, MD of Nissan Motor India, stated that Sriram “has been an asset for Nissan India with a strong contribution towards a successful launch of Big, Bold, Beautiful Nissan Magnite under Nissan Next with Nissan Magnite generating a tremendous customer response with over 1 lakh bookings and receipt of the Global Nissan President’s Award.” Mr. Mohan Wilson is cordially invited to Nissan Motor India. His experience with luxury vehicles on a worldwide scale will be crucial in establishing the Nissan brand and advancing the Nissan NEXT transformation’s emphasis on customer experience.
