The ‘Mera Gold Loan, Mera Interest’ campaign was launched by Muthoot FinCorp, one of India’s major non-banking financial institutions and the flagship unit of Muthoot Pappachan Group, better known as Muthoot Blue.

Virat Kohli, along with other Royal Challengers Bangalore players, appears in three different avatars in the three television commercials.

Muthoot FinCorp, a major player in the Indian business world, pioneered a unique concept in which consumers can set their interest rate on a gold loan.

Kohli, who is known for his witty sense of humor both on and off the field, once again wowed fans with his new amusing avatars in the TVC alongside RCB teammates Dinesh Karthik, Mohammed Siraj, Harshal Patel, and Finn Allen, all of whom emphasized the scheme’s importance in the lives of ordinary people.

Kohli played a teacher, an umpire, and a doctor in a rib-tickling fashion in multi-lingual TVCs that included three separate fun-filled scenarios, with the former India captain appealing with the line “Mera gold loan, mera interest.” ‘Ab khud chuno apni interest rate’ is an expression that conveys that people themselves would now be choosing their interest rates.

Muthoot FinCorp has always been a pioneer in bringing forth unique campaign ideas targeted at helping the ordinary man better their financial well-being, according to Thomas George Muthoot, Director, Muthoot FinCorp Ltd. He went on to say that now that the pandemic has reduced to a manageable level and businesses are returning to normal, Muthoot is launching a new scheme called “Mera Gold Loan, Mera Interest.” People will be able to better organize their finances and enhance their livelihood as an upshot of this.

For the third year in a row, Muthoot FinCorp has partnered with Royal Challengers Bangalore as the team’s title sponsor. The Royal Challengers Bangalore, headed by Faf du Plessis, have won three of their five games in the present IPL.

Customers were attracted to the promotion because they could choose their interest rate, which was the campaign’s main message. Kohli was shown in a teacher’s avatar surprising student Siraj by offering him alternatives for prizes for performing well in class in one of the videos that were recently released.

In other yet-to-be-released videos, Kohli will play a doctor and question New Zealand cricketer Allen about incentives like donuts, pizza, burgers, and pastries for staying fit, while as an umpire, he will question batter Karthik about his preferred delivery as Siraj watches on.

The company, which has over 3500-plus locations and over 30000 staff serving over five million customers across the country, had previously urged customers to adapt to Blue Soch to be successful in their life. During the epidemic, Muthoot Fincorp pushed people to change the way they thought and embrace a positive attitude in life, affectionately known as the ‘Blue Soch,’ while the common man faced unforeseen obstacles and was stranded in life with no definite progress ahead.
