Speaking about her personal heroes, Kareena shared that her perspective has evolved over the years, with her two children now being her greatest inspirations. She spoke about how motherhood has shaped her growth, teaching her patience, empathy, and the importance of evolving alongside her children.
The discussion also touched upon parenting in today’s digital-first world. Kareena emphasised the need to encourage children to engage in activities beyond screens, highlighting sports as an important outlet for focus, discipline, and emotional balance. She underlined the value of open communication with children, noting that excessive restriction often leads to increased curiosity.
On the professional front, Kareena spoke about her upcoming film Dayra, a socially relevant narrative in which she essays the role of a police officer. She expressed gratitude for being part of meaningful cinema and noted how audiences today are increasingly discerning, driven by strong writing and authentic storytelling. She also observed that exposure to diverse global content has significantly influenced viewing preferences and creative choices within the industry.
