One of the most anticipated series of the year that aired on Discovery+ has now set to come back again with a bang in the second season recording one of the highest viewership of the year. Yes, the Secrets season 2 is coming again with the same pair of the first season. The Secrets of Sinauli: Discovery of the Century starring Manoj Bajpayee made one of the most viewed shows on OTT with the introductory set of the newly launched OTT platform in India Discovery+. Giving the show a green flag by the audience, the series is set to come back again on the platform with the same cast of Manoj Bajpayee and director Neeraj Pandey, giving a new wave of direction to the second season of the series.
The show is a documented series that is narrated by Manoj Bajpayee who is indeed the main protagonist of the show. The show garnered widespread attention from the viewers of the show. The timeless frame of the show made it unique to portray the story of ancient India which was a creative aspect of the series that gave them a good amount of audience attention as a new and unique series of its type. The second season is named the Secrets of the Kohinoor, which will have a sharp way of storytelling through the main cast of the show.
The second season of the show is set to release on the 4th of August 2022 on Discovery+ which will be directed by the award-winning director Neeraj Pandey, who has also directed MS Dhoni; The Untold Story. The acclaimed director Neeraj Pandey after the grand success of the first season of Secrets mentioned that; he is extremely delighted to direct the second season of Secrets that will discover the journey of the infamous jewel of India; The Grand Kohinoor. His ambition from this series is to spread the noise of ancient India had one of the many jewels that are now stored and kept in the Palace of the UK.
He also stated, that working with a star like Manoj Bajpayee is a true honor to him as Bajpayee’s way of acting has impressed him in a very deep way. The way he acted in “Gangs of Wasseypur” is true compel that he is one of the greatest actors of all time India will have in its center.
