Oct 16, 2012: Bennett, Coleman & Co (BCCL) has launched a new newspaper in Bengali, Ei Samay. Market reports indicate that the newspaper has received positive response from the readers for its design and range of news coverage right from politics to economics to entertainment. The new newspaper is priced at Rs 4 and will be competing with Ananda Bazar Patrika, the market leader for capturing a share of newspaper market in Bengal.
