New Maruti “Kitna Deti Hai” advertisement: Submarine and Jetliner

Jan 6, 2013:  This hilarious ad had various versions and now Maruti has taken this one step further and has come out with ads shot under the water and in sky. Tagged as “Kitna Deti Hai” Submarine ad and “Kitna Deti Hai” Jetliner ad, this ad highlights obsession of Indians for mileage. Both the ads have been created by Publicis Capital.

Maruti “Kitna Deti Hai” Submarine ad

This ad shows two scuba drivers a man and women underwater and while they explore the marine life, they see a man on an underwater bike. They communicate using sign languages and the scuba divers ask the man on underwater bike, how much mileage does it give?

Maruti “Kitna Deti hai” Jetliner ad

This ad shows a sci fi aircraft with the most modern technologies and air hostesses who knows 10 different languages. The ad shows an Indian Sikh guy entering the aircraft and a voice over explains the advance features of the aircraft. As the flight takes off, the Indian asks how much mileage does the aircraft give?

Both the ads end with a voice over “In a country so obsessed with mileage, Maruti makes the most fuel efficient cars”
