New Delhi, 26 December 2025: OPPO India today announced the winners of the OPPO Photography Awards 2025, powered by LUMO, recognising creators who transformed everyday moments into compelling visual stories through smartphone photography. With over 30,000 entries from across India, the second edition of the awards reaffirms OPPO’s vision of pushing the boundaries of mobile imaging while empowering authentic, emotion-led storytelling.
Anchored in the theme ‘Super Every Moment’, the awards celebrate photography’s power to elevate fleeting experiences into unforgettable narratives—made possible through OPPO’s advanced imaging innovation and creative intent.
From thousands of submissions nationwide, three photographers emerged as the top national winners for their ability to blend technical excellence with emotional depth:
- Gold: Soumyasikha Manna (West Bengal) for his evocative portrayal of the quiet strength and simplicity of a specially abled tribal man’s life
- Silver: Prathamesh Ganesh Shinde (Maharashtra) for his graceful capture of India’s traditional Mallakhamb artform
- Bronze: Shubham Keshari (Uttar Pradesh) for his visually rich depiction of the timeless essence of Varanasi
As part of the national honours, the Gold Award winner receives ₹5,00,000, the Silver Award winner receives ₹2,00,000, and the Bronze Award winner receives ₹1,00,000, recognising excellence in visual storytelling and creative vision.
A platform to recognize diverse perspectives
The 2025 edition marked the second chapter of the OPPO Photography Awards in India. Participants competed across nine categories—Super Snap, Super Youth, Super Live, Super Me, Super Vibe, Super Story, Super Connection, Super Culture (in partnership with Discovery Channel to celebrate cultural diversity), and Super Environs.
From the initial entries, 40 photographers were shortlisted for Round 2, where they showcased their creativity using OPPO’s flagship Find X8 Pro, demonstrating how advanced imaging technology can bring depth, clarity, and emotion to every frame.
Entries were evaluated by a distinguished jury including renowned celebrity photographer, Joseph Radhik, Vikram Channa, Vice President at Warner Bros. Discovery, along with other esteemed global photography and editorial experts.
In addition to the national winners, the contest also recognised top entries from each of the categories. The category winners reflected the diversity of stories and perspectives captured across India. To further nurture their talent, the winners will receive OPPO’s latest flagship from Find x9 series, and the winners include:
- Super Snap: Rishika Umrey (Madhya Pradesh)
- Super Youth: Pramit Das (West Bengal)
- Super Live: Joel Jaswa (Tamil Nadu)
- Super Me: Pradiptamoy Paul (West Bengal)
- Super Vibe: Jayaraj T P (Kerala)
- Super Story: Somenath Mukhopadhyay (West Bengal)
- Super Connection: Chiranjit Dey (West Bengal)
- Super Culture: Dikshit Mundra (Himachal Pradesh)
- Super Environs: Pramit Das (West Bengal)

Indian Talent on a Global Stage
The global edition of the OPPO Photography Awards 2025 attracted nearly 2 million entries from 87 countries, making it the largest edition in the contest’s history. Reflecting OPPO’s commitment to amplifying diverse creative voices, two Indian photographers were recognised with Regional Awards this year.
Captured on the OPPO Find X8 Pro, Rohit was honoured for ‘Windows of Innocence’, while Shahid Mushtaq received recognition for ‘Life on the Lake: A Kashmir Morning’, bringing Indian storytelling to the global photography stage.
