‘Own Your Future’ Campaign by Upstox

Upstox (formally known as RKSV Securities India Pvt. Ltd.), one of India’s major investment platforms, has announced the ‘Own Your Future’, campaign for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The campaign’s purpose is to promote financial inclusion in India by encouraging young Indians to invest sensibly in the stock market and own assets that will grow over time and enable them to take control of their destiny.

Any company’s and management’s purpose is to increase shareholder value. The ad is a series of amusing movies explaining how to “Make your favorite companies work for you” by purchasing its stocks, becoming a shareholder, and having the firm and its management try to boost your returns!

The series’ first two videos were published in conjunction with the unveiling of the Tata IPL 2022. One of the films shows three buddies getting together to talk about their careers. Another film in the series shows two friends meeting in a cafe to talk about a friend’s advancement.

“The campaign ‘Own Your Future’ wants to inspire more Indians to participate in the equity market and make the proper financial choices with Upstox,” stated Kavitha Subramanian, Co-Founder of Upstox.

Young Indians today recognize the importance of having assets and establishing a portfolio through stock ownership. There has been a significant increase in startup culture, and people are realizing that while not everyone can be an entrepreneur, they can still own a portion of a firm and benefit from its long-term growth.

Upstox intends to redefine investments for its clients, just like the IPL has done for cricket. They’ve expanded 3X year over year and are intending to continue on the same path this year. This campaign is set to contribute to the development of an equity investment culture in India and encourage more Indians to take control of their financial future.

Commercials on broadcast, digital, and social media channels are part of the multiplatform marketing strategy. While digital is being used to reach target segments in metros and large cities, television will continue to dominate the media mix in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
