AS A COSMETOLOGIST, WHAT ARE THOSE BIGGEST MYTHS ABOUT BEAUTY THAT YOU WANT TO CLARIFY?

I think most often people don’t realize that it takes lot of efforts and care to maintain your beauty and when they do, they get scared and easily give up. I have found that the only way to successfully take care of yourself is to break down the various activities into small and easy routines through the day. Once you have that routine you have successful beauty regime and that just happens naturally. For example, face masks are an easy way to keep your skin rejuvenated. So, when I put on a face mask while I’m doing other activities, whether I’m navigating through traffic or chilling with Netflix.

I also think that non-invasive surgeries like dermal filler and thread lift should be viewed almost like makeup. We are all anyway putting masks every day. Also, when you shaped or did your eyebrow, you are changing a bit of who you are. So, I don’t think there is anything wrong with these treatments and people should get filler, thread left etc. whenever they want it.

HOW MUCH DO YOU ENJOY HELPING PEOPLE LOOK AND FEEL THEIR BEST?

This is what matters the most as I have been passionate about helping people since my school days, and I have worked on this. Its what helps me get up every day and do my best. I am always so happy to see when my patients are happy with the results of my treatment.

WAS THERE ANY TIME WHEN YOU HAD TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET A JOB DONE?

I feel like I go above and beyond for every patient of mine I often treat. For me every patient is special and We have a process in which we give personalized service to all our patients irrespective of who they are. We even offer them home service where applicable. Lastly, the recent pandemic has given a unique opportunity for me to connect with my patients at a deeper level, I advise on the right precautions to take during this difficult times.

WHAT IS THE MOST ENTICING PART OF YOUR JOB?

I love meeting new people and seeing how I can transform their lives with my work. It is always nice to also see the immediate results of my work. Eventually, nothing makes me happier than seeing all my patients be satisfied with my treatment.

HOW IMPORTANT IS PERSONAL BRANDING FOR YOU, AND WHAT YOU DO TO GROW YOUR PERSONAL BRAND?

In today’s world where people want to intimately know what they are buying, personal branding is more important than ever. My big mantra for personal branding is to be honest. I ensure that my patients and fans see the real and authentic me. I have noticed that little things like Insta live, stories about my daily lives etc. help me tremendously with my personal branding. Lastly, another key aspect of my personal branding is to treat and collaborate with celebrity patients. Over the years, many of them have trusted me and given me glowing reviews, which has helped grow my personal brand.

HOW HAS COVID-19 IMPACTED THE BUSINESS (NUTRITION & COSMETOLOGY)

Everyone has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. That’s the biggest reason why differences are seen from market-to-market. “We see immense potential in the market and will continue to improve our customer experience across channels,”

HOW IS THE FUTURE GOING TO BE FOR ANOTHER 2-3 YEARS?

The future of the beauty industry has got a digital push with the pandemic but it might not be enough for a behavioural change. The beauty industry in India, projected to be worth $20 billion by 2025, was one of the sectors whose path was redefined during the coronavirus pandemic. The lockdown led to salons shutting down, and even as they began reopening in phases, the situation remains cautious. Work from home and lack of social gatherings meant lesser business for the salons. Also, people remain wary regarding the safety of getting any beauty procedures done outside.

HOW IS HYBRID WORKING GOING TO AFFECT THE DAILY ROUTINE OF PEOPLE?

Today, the modern workplace is a very innovative and creative mix of physical workspaces and advanced digital mediums. It is a collaboration between many concepts which many genius minds ideated to have the ideal workplace. In the wake of the prevailing pandemic, we know that the world will never be the same again. People will be more cautious about hygiene and practice physical distancing for a long time. If we talk about the corporate sector or professional sphere, employers will have to build huge confidence in the workforce to return to the offices. This is where the Hybrid version of the workplace comes into existence. Hybrid symbolizes a process of moving from traditional to agile, modern environments that support the changing work culture. Most companies have realized that adopting a hybrid workplace policy has big benefits, cost saving being the most prominent. Organizations with progressive outlook have started reinvesting a portion of savings back into the workplace. This reinvestment is supporting the employees to productivity improvements leading to improved top line.
