Positive trend on Nifty futures

Nifty futures on Singapore Exchange-traded showed a positive trend on Tuesday. It showed  18.50 points higher at 11,337.50. Here are a few stocks which may perform well in the trade:

ICICI Bank: To boost Rs.15000 crore ICICI set the ground price at  Rs.351.36 per share

Vodafone Idea: Government-owned life insurance major LIC may buy a large minority stake in the troubled telecom service provider.

Inter Globe Aviation: IndiGo’s parent company Inter Globe Aviation is planning to raise to Rs 4,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP).

HDFC: As a part of the home financier’s mega fund-raising program HDFC raised Rs.3,693 crore by selling bonds and a share sale.


Titan: The company reported a standalone net loss of Rs 270 crore in the quarter ended June

Axis Bank: UBS Principal Capital Asia offloaded shares of Axis Bank worth over Rs 150 crore through open market transactions.

Persistent Systems: Christopher O’Connor stepped down from the company’s Chief executive post


IPCA Labs:  Robust in sales during the pandemic helped the firm to raise the consolidated income yo Rs.445.68 for the last quarter ended June.


Bank of Baroda
: Provisioning for normal accounts increased, Bank of Baroda reported a net loss of Rs.864 crore.

Power Grid: After the effect of COVID-19, state-owned power system Corporation of India Ltd reported an 18 percent fall in its consolidated profit.

Equitas Small Finance Bank: Rs. 60 crore reported as the profit after tax for the June ended the quarter


Cochin Shipyard: The Cochin shipyard  revised the completion date for the dry dock project to December 2022

South Indian Bank: Kerala based South Indian bank got in-principle approval from the depository financial institution of India founded a wholly-owned non-financial subsidiary


BEL, BEML: The upgraded state-of-the-art Maareech Integration Facility at the Bharat Electronics (BEL) and industrial design center (IDC) of BEML was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday


Kotak Mahindra Bank: Dilution of promoter Uday Kotak’s shareholding, the bank achieved compliance with RBI norms.



NDTV: Net income of media firm NDTV reported a 54.68 percent decline in consolidated earnings at Rs 7.55 crore for the quarter ended June.


AstraZeneca Pharma: Drug firm AstraZeneca Pharma India reported a 13.38 percent decline in its net profit to Rs 18.63 crore for the quarter ended June.

Akzo Nobel: Paints and coatings maker Akzo Nobel India reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 20.26 crore for the June quarter due to lower volume and demand impacted by the lockdown.
