Realme is an Android-based smartphone brand created by Realme Chongqing Mobile Telecommunications Corporation, Ltd., a Shenzhen-based manufacturer. It was formed on May 4, 2018, by Li Bingzhong (also known as “Sky” Li), a former vice president of Oppo.

Realme launched in China on May 4, 2018. Realme made its debut in China in 2010 under the moniker “OPPO Real.” Until its establishment as a spinoff on May 4, 2018, it was a sub-brand of OPPO.

Their first phone, the Realme 1, was released in May 2018.

Sky Li announced his resignation from Oppo and his plan to launch Realme as an independent brand on Sina Weibo on July 30, 2018.

The GT Neo 3 will be available this year, according to Realme. Madhav Sheth, the company’s vice president, hinted at this last week.

Now, Realme’s CMO, Xu Qi Chase, has stated that the smartphone will be available this month, at least in China, if not elsewhere. On Weibo, Chase posted a poster depicting the official look of the Realme GT Neo 3.

The triple camera array is housed in a rectangular island on the back of the phone. The arrangement includes a 50MP main camera, as well as 8MP and 2MP sensors and an LED light.

The main camera on the Realme GT Neo 3 will include OIS functionality, according to the poster.

The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTex Dimensity 8100 SoC and will allow 150W charging, according to the tech company. Several sources claim that the smartphone will have either a 4,500 mAh battery with 150W fast charging or a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

A 6.7-inch Full HD+AMOLED screen with a fingerprint scanner is rumored to be included in the GT Neo 3. It will be available in two RAM configurations: 8GB and 12GB, as well as three storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

According to rumors, the smartphone would have a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

In terms of device sales, Realme has since surpassed Oppo in India. Realme has been the fourth-largest smartphone brand in India since 2019, following Xiaomi, Samsung, and Vivo. Realme holds the title of fastest-charging smartphone in India as well as the first 5G smartphone in the country
