Mumbai, 30th October: Premium lifestyle destination Sky City Mall is celebrating the festive season with the second edition of Rhythms of India. Between 29th October and 11th November 2026, the mall’s Main Atrium turns into a stage for India’s dance traditions. This year’s highlight is a series of Dance Jugalbandi performances, bringing classical and folk forms together on a single stage alongside regional dance acts.
The festival opens with regional dance acts, with Bhangra from Punjab on 29th October and Rajasthan’s Kalbeliya on 30th October. The weekend of 31st October and 1st November brings Dance Jugalbandi performances, pairing Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Tandav on Saturday, followed by Odissi, Mohiniattam and Kathak on Sunday. On 6th November, Bhangra meets Rajasthani folk in a third jugalbandi. The celebrations close with Maharashtra’s Lezim on 10th November and a Garba Fusion performance on 11th November. Dance performances will be held twice a day, at 6 PM and 7 PM, with ensembles of 8 to 10 artists.
Alongside the performances, the mall is dressed in its Diwali installation, The Crystal Guardian: The Prism of Infinite Light. At its heart, a radiant lotus, a symbol of purity and new beginnings, rises between two crystal elephants representing strength, wisdom and abundance, framed by shimmering peacock feathers, glowing lotuses and golden lights. Together, the décor and the performances make the mall a natural stop for families out on their festive shopping.
