Mumbai, september 1st 2026: Rishi Kapoor has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer & Director of Team Marksmen Network (TMN), concluding a year-and-eight-month stint with the B2B media and events company. Kapoor had been serving his notice period, with 24 August 2026 being his last working day with the organisation.
During his tenure, Kapoor focused on strengthening TMN’s growth strategy, expanding its industry-focused platforms and IPs, deepening relationships with senior business leaders and clients, and building greater momentum around the company’s B2B business.
Kapoor’s exit has already led to speculation within the industry about the veteran media and business leader’s next move. There is considerable talk that he could be headed for a senior leadership role with one of the country’s larger media houses. At the same time, those familiar with his entrepreneurial streak believe that he could choose to build something of his own. For now, Kapoor has not publicly indicated his plans for his next chapter.
Before joining TMN, Kapoor held senior leadership roles across the media, consulting and business ecosystem. He was Partner at Sapphire Human Capital, where he was instrumental in building Sapphire Connect and developing C-suite communities including Thought Leaders of India and India Diversity Forum. Earlier, as Senior Director at ET Edge, part of the Times Group, he was part of the core team that launched the business and played a key role in establishing and scaling numerous successful initiatives, both domestically and internationally. His career has also included senior roles with Planman Consulting, HT Media, IDG Media and Monster India.
With over two decades of experience spanning media, events, marketing, business development and strategic partnerships, Kapoor has built and led businesses, driven revenue growth and created platforms that bring together brands, businesses and leadership communities.
