Samsonite targets sub Rs 1000 luggage segment

Sept 23, 2012: Samsonite has decided to enter the below Rs 1000 luggage segment and take on leaders VIP in this space. As per the sources, the board has approved their plan code named ‘Pappu’ to launch a luggage with a price tag less than Rs 1000 in Indian market. This new product also known as Samsonite Nano will hit the market by Diwali and it took around 2 years to design and manufacture this new product.
