Scan and Save Credit Card information using iPhone with iOS 8

June 8, 2014: Technology website 9To5Mac has reported that the iPhone users with iOS 8 can scan and save credit card information using their smart phone. As Apple announced a host of features with iOS 8 the developers around the world have started exploring the new operating system’s software development kit. This new feature was explored and reported by 9To5Mac. The technology website further reported that if a user wants to use this feature they just simple need to take a photo of their credit card while make a transaction through the Safari browser.

This option of scanning and saving credit card information will pop-up each time a user makes a transaction on an e-commerce website. This feature will be available only through the Safari browser. The advantage of this advanced feature is that once the picture is taken, the credit card details will be automatically filled on the website with the help of Apple’s character recognition technology. Earlier it was reported by passionateinmarketing.com that the new iOS 8 which is smarter than its earlier version gives a new smarter keyboard and includes new features for texting and sending e-mails. The mobile device keyboard has got an improved predictive typing suggestion and includes predicting responses to incoming messages.
