Surat, 17th July 2026: BSH Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH and a global leader in premium home appliances, has unveiled Surat’s first exclusive Siemens Brand Store, in partnership with Cheryl Enterprises Private Limited. Spanning 1880 sq ft, the store is located at G/4, Surana Supremus, opposite Prime Shoppers, Udhana Magdalla Road, Vesu, the new store marks another significant milestone in the brand’s retail expansion strategy, strengthening its presence in one of India’s fastest-growing premium consumption markets.
Surat has rapidly evolved into one of India’s most promising premium consumption markets, fuelled by sustained wealth creation across the diamond, textile and trading industries, a growing affluent consumer base and increasing investments in luxury residential developments. As luxury residences become more design-led, homeowners in Surat are increasingly adopting integrated, European-inspired kitchen layouts where built-in appliances are seamlessly incorporated into the overall architecture of the home. This shift aligns closely with Siemens’ philosophy of intelligent design and connected living.
Unlike earlier growth cycles driven primarily by first-time appliance ownership, today’s demand is increasingly shaped by consumers designing complete kitchen ecosystems as well as existing homeowners upgrading to premium built-in solutions through home renovations. The market is further influenced by architects, interior designers and modular kitchen specialists, who are playing an increasingly important role in shaping appliance choices as consumers seek seamless integration, sophisticated aesthetics and future-ready technologies. Surat has emerged as the third-highest revenue-generating market for Siemens in Gujarat in the built-in appliance category.
Surat’s premium appliance market is being shaped by a fundamental shift in consumer priorities. While front-load washing machines continue to drive category volumes, cooking has emerged as Siemens’ largest value category, contributing 45% of total revenue in 2025. Ovens alone account for nearly 29% of overall sales, highlighting how modern kitchen has evolved from a functional space into the centrepiece of premium home design. Consumers are increasingly investing in intelligent cooking technologies and integrated kitchen ecosystems that combine design, performance and everyday convenience.
Commenting on the launch, Saif Khan, MD and CEO, BSH Home Appliances India, said, “One of the biggest shifts we are witnessing in India’s premium home appliance market is that premium consumption is no longer confined to metropolitan cities. Entrepreneurial markets like Surat are creating a new generation of affluent consumers who are investing in thoughtfully designed homes and integrated kitchens from day one, rather than upgrading over time. They are looking beyond individual appliances to complete kitchen ecosystems that combine intelligent technology, sophisticated design and everyday functionality. For Siemens, Gujarat has emerged as our strongest premium market, with Surat standing out as one of India’s most dynamic premium consumption centres and a strategic priority in our long-term growth journey. As these markets continue to evolve, our ambition is not just to expand our retail footprint, but to shape how the next generation of Indian homes is designed and experienced through German engineering, intelligent innovation and seamlessly integrated living”
The newly launched store showcases Siemens’ complete portfolio of built-in and free standing appliances, where consumers can experience AI-enabled camera IQ700 ovens that deliver consistent cooking precision, connected coffee machines capable of preparing 30 personalised beverages just the way you like and 30+ international coffee specialties, and intelligent Home Connect enabled dishcare innovations, designed to optimise everyday life while creating enriching culinary experiences.
Expert consultants help homeowners, architects and designers visualise complete kitchen ecosystems where technology integrates effortlessly with sophisticated design, reinforcing Siemens’ ambition to shape the future of intelligent living in India through meaningful innovation, exceptional design and connected experiences that exceed consumer expectations.
