PepsiCo, a multinational cola giant has recently announced the nationwide rollout of ‘Pepsi Mango’, the megacorporation’s first permanent flavoured cola in five years. The mango-flavoured cola is currently introduced in the United States market.
Pepsi Mango was first introduced in the market for a test run in April 2019 as a part of the seasonal fruit flavoured cola line-up, which included other flavours like Pepsi Berry and Pepsi Lime.
Starting Mach 22, the product was made widely available in grocery stores, convenience stores, and to mass retailers across The United States of America.
Pepsi had already released limited-edition flavours like hot cocoa, apple pie, cherry and marshmallow, but ‘Pepsi Mango’ will be the company’s first permanent flavoured cola in the recent five years.
The drink has been specifically designed giving due consideration to consumers’ raising preference for sugar-free offerings, without having to compromise on taste. The carbonated soft drink will be available in the regular as well as sugar-free variants, in 12oz 12 packs and 20oz bottles.
Pepsi also created a new national television commercial, to support the launch. The commercial which would run digitally is set up to the top 40 hit- ‘Take You Dancing’ by American singer, ‘Jason Derulo’. The commercial will showcase a mango pop out of a fruit bowl and pitchpole towards its perfect match, a can of Pepsi to create a powerful new flavour, Pepsi Mango.

PepsiCo Incorporation, founded in 1965 currently owns 23 brands, that includes popular soft-drink beverage brands like- Mountain Dew, 7UP, Mirinda, Gatorade, SodaStream, Tropicana and Pepsi-Cola.
The Pepsi team created this surprisingly perfect match considering the popularity of the heavenly tropical fruit mango which would flawlessly complement Pepsi cola to serve its fans a ravishing drink.
Envisaging a positive market response for their product, Todd Kaplan the Vice President of Marketing- Colas, Pepsi TM, at PepsiCo, said that they’ll be offering, “an irresistible combination that our fans can enjoy everywhere throughout the year”.
