The newly updated variant of the Ducati Hypermotard 950 launch in India

Ducati has raised their product line-up to launch new another member of the Hypermotard 950 family. yes, we are talking about the updated model of SP variant of new model going to launch in 2022. The series has been updated to Euro V emissions standard and the process of manufacturing has begun at Borgo Panigale.

The series consist of the Hypermotard 950, Hypermotard 950 RVE and now, Hypermotard 950 SP. Ducati mentioned in their statement, the new variant of the SP version ready to drive again in the world by bringing MotoGP in its colors and that of ‘freestyle sports’ in its graphic lines.

The Hypermotard wants to be placed on the top of the list and expected to differentiate from the other two models by Ohlins suspension with increased travel, Marchesini duplicate wheels, and standard Ducati Quick Shift(DQS) Up and Down EVO.

Talking about more of Hypermotard 950 family, it is powering with the 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11 degree twin-cylinder that produce 114hp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque 96 Nm at 7,250 rpm. These power and torque remain the same with the transition to Euro 5 homologation.

The production department said the gearbox has been amended to make it easier to involve neutral in the condition of the bike is motionless and made improvement in the part of the gear. The Hypermotard 950 in Ducati Red color scheme, the Hypermotard 950 RVE with ‘Graffiti’ version, and the Hypermotard 950 SP will emerge with new ‘SP’ color, the customer will purchase at Ducati network dealers beginning from June 2021. The motorcycles are available in a limited version for A2 license holders as well. 

As per the MD of Ducati India, Bipul Chandra said in her statement, the Hypermotard 950 will be launching in the country in the fourth quarter this year. In the third quarter, we will welcome the new Ducati Monster with a compact new design and 111hp on tap, In the second quarter we will see the arrival of the Italian sports bike, the Panigale V4 and, V4 S in the same list.

We all very well know the current market situation in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ducati has the strategy to launch 12 new motorcycles in the country this year.
