UFC and Timex announce global sponsorship

The UFC, the world’s foremost mixed martial arts organisation, and Timex, a global leader in watchmaking for over 165 years, have announced a substantial global sponsorship and licencing collaboration that will allow each brand to reach a larger audience of fans and consumers.

Timex will become an Official Licensing Partner of UFC,” offering a wide range of UFC-branded products such as wristwatches, health and fitness tracking-enabled watches, watch straps, clocks, and more.

Each piece will be handcrafted with the same attention to detail, quality, and inventive design that has established Timex the world’s most recognisable watch brand.

Beginning in Spring/Summer 2022, UFC-branded Timex items will be widely available to consumers worldwide through brick-and-mortar and online retail outlets such as Timex.com, the official UFC Store, major department stores, sports goods stores, and other venues.

Branded Integrations & Sponsorship Alliances

Timex will also become UFC’s first-ever “Official Timekeeper Partner” and “Official Watch Partner,” allowing the Timex brand to be integrated into UFC assets during live broadcasts and on UFC-owned social media channels.

Timex will be the “Official Timekeeper Partner” and “Official Watch Partner” for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, allowing the Timex brand to be built-in into UFC assets throughout stay broadcasts.

Most notably, beginning with UFC 269: OLIVEIRA vs POIRIER on Saturday, December 11, Timex will be the presenting partner of UFC’s in-broadcast fight clock at all UFC Pay-Per-View events, delivering primary exposure for the Timex brand throughout the year at all of UFC’s marquee events, reaching over 900 million TV homes in 175 countries worldwide.

Every second counts, and the ticking clock adds to the drama in a UFC bout  As UFC fights are aired around the world, Timex will become synonymous with the biggest moments. White said that “Timex is an iconic brand, and thrilled to have them as the UFC partner,”.
