Unilever has reached a deal to buy a majority stake in Nutrafol, a leading hair wellness company.

Through Unilever Ventures, Unilever owns a minority (13.2 percent) investment in Nutrafol. Nutrafol is the #1 dermatologist-recommended hair growth brand in the United States1 and offers a variety of clinically tested, physician-formulated treatments for women and men of all ages to address thinning hair and compromised hair health.

Nutrafol uses its patented Synergen Complex® – a blend of medical-grade nutraceutical ingredients that target multiple root causes affecting hair health, including hormones, stress, lifestyle, metabolism, nutrition, and ageing – instead of traditional hair growth products that focus on a single cause.
