30 January 2023: India’s leading PU footwear manufacturer VKC Pride has distributed prizes to the winners of its ShopLocal 2 campaign which was launched to promote neighbourhood businesses and energise local economies. V.K Anita who won the first prize in the lucky draw, received prize money of Rs 1 Lakh. VKC also started the distribution of gold coins to 100 customers who won the second prize.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr VKC Razak, Managing Director of VKC Group, said: “The shop local campaign initiated by VKC Group has benefited both traders and consumers. I am happy that the VKC ShopLocal programme has influenced Local businesses in a big way in India. Over 2 lakh shops have participated in the programme, which has become a movement in the country. I hope Local businesses will be considered well in both the centre and state budgets”.
