VPS Healthcare as the medical partner for IPL 2020

VPS Healthcare was appointed by The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the medical partner for the coming season of the Indian Premier League which will begins from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates.

The duty for a proper end to end medical facilities and solutions will depend upon the shoulders of the health care group. This includes Shamsheer Vayalil and also the son in law and founder of Lulu supermarket MA Yusuf Ali.

VPS Healthcare will be helping IPL by providing emergency medical support, sports medicine, medical admissions, medical treatment, and ambulance support.

VPS Healthcare has been the authentic testing partner of Dream11 IPL 2020. The group has been involved in all the testing requirements since the beginning of players arrival in the UAE. The quarantine and isolation protocols are also being controlled via way of means of the group and are coordinating properly with the health regulatory authorities to keep all things properly.

In the case of medical admissions, players taken to VPS hospitals in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or Sharjah will be treated and subjected to different medical services in a completely secured and risk-free environment. The ambulance and air ambulance assistance for the IPL will be provided by the Response Plus Medical, the medical team of VPS Healthcare. VPS’s Burjeel Medical City will be facilitating the air ambulance offerings because it has a chopper-landing facility. The hospital at Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi is nearly 14 kilometres away from the stadium and 20 kilometres away from the accommodation of the players.
