The filing process of the Income Tax Return (ITR) has been paused for 6 days. The official e-filing website incometax.gov.in has been scrapped off since midnight of May 31, 2021. The e-filing process will resume from June 7, 2021, a day after the brand new website is launched.
The founder of RSM India, Dr. Suresh Surana said keeping in mind the, migration and transition of the existing e-filing portal to a different platform, the government has announced a blackout period for using the existing portal from June 1 to June 6, 2021.
