Maharashtra exports antacid tablets to 198 countries worldwide while Rajasthan wood furniture crosses 111. These are the findings of the report on the Export Preparedness Index released by Niti Aayog on the comparative advantages of Indian states.

The export of Indian Agri and marine is driven by states such as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh excels at non-boneless beef, Andhra Pradesh aces in shrimp and cream production. Punjab exports mainly Basmati rice, Haryana, renowned for its automobile industry, exports turbocharging engines and other car parts, apart from basmati rice and clothes.
Himachal Pradesh exports coins and lifeboats among the Himalayan States, while Tripura exports onion and dried fish. Himachal is specialized in antacid, antibiotics, antibiotics, and hypertension drugs.
