Feb 10, 2013: There is a lot of new launches happening in the sub Rs.10,000 market recently in India. Companies like Micromax and HCL have been aggressively wooing customers with their product offerings in this segment. The latest entrant into this segment is Asus who is planning to launch new tablets in the sub Rs.10,000 segment later this month. This is the first time, the company is launching tablets in this segment.
According to reports company is planning to launch four new models in the sub Rs.10,000 category and Rs.10,000 to Rs.20,000 category. The models in the Rs.10,000-20,000 category will have a SIM card slot as well, which will help the users to make voice calls. Asus will be launching the new Tablet in the 7 inch category and it is reported to be priced in the range of Rs.6,000 to Rs.10,000.
