Axis bank launches “Full power Digital Account”


The impact of the pandemic in all sectors of the economy is really huge, even the banking sector was affected. During the mid-march, there were lockdowns that disrupted the regular working of the banks. Axis bank the third largest private sector lender bank in India proved that it’s possible to recover, where they converted the panic situation to an opportunity.

Axis bank launched a new full feature savings account which can be digitally opened by the customers, which is named as “Full power Digital Account” by introducing the digital account concept. Axis bank is one of the banks to introduce video-based KYC for starting an account. This new service of the Axis bank is promoted by Lowe Lintas, Mumbai through a campaign.

Axis bank has currently introduced almost more than 250 services where the transactions can be done without physically visiting. The digital account is said to be an innovation in the banking sector, as it opens up new possibilities in the world of digital banking. As in a situation where social distancing is practiced people prefer to stay at home and people are turning towards the digital world, as a part of safety and it has become almost a part of the regular life of a person. The digital account was claimed to be created to satisfy the needs and wants of customers wherein all the transactions and payments came into a single roof.

The campaign film promoted by Lowe Lintas showcases with similar real-life situations of people where at some point or the other one may have to face certain difficulties in life and how they overcome it in their own way. Similar is the situation at the time of pandemic where people are trying to cope up with the difficulties on their own, Lowe Lintas claims by showing the relatable situations it would be more understandable and promotes the idea that Axis bank and its services are always open and within the reach of customers. The campaign also creates an idea in the mind of the viewers that the digital account launched by Axis bank is really user-friendly and can be easily adopted by first-time users.
